Tropical cyclone Linfa (local name Egay) has left the Philippine area of responsibility. Tropical cyclone Chan-hom (to be renamed Falcon), meanwhile, approaches the vicinity. Tropical cyclone Nangka (can be renamed Goring) has also been spotted over the Pacific.
